Gate Keeper Garments Factory - Karachi

We are seeking a reliable, vigilant, and responsible Gate Keeper to oversee security operations at our garments factory located in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with managing the entry and exit points, maintaining accurate visitor logs, and ensuring the overall safety of the factory premises, staff, raw materials, and finished products. This full-time position operates on a morning shift from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and requires a candidate who can maintain discipline and follow company security protocols diligently.

Key Responsibilities

- Control and monitor the entry and exit of employees, visitors, suppliers, and vehicles to ensure authorized access only.
- Maintain a daily register documenting visitors and the movement of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Verify delivery challans, gate passes, and other relevant documents to confirm legitimacy.
- Monitor the movement of raw materials, accessories, garments, and finished goods within the premises.
- Prevent unauthorized entry and promptly report any suspicious activities or security breaches to management.
- Ensure that company property and factory materials are not removed without proper authorization.
- Keep the factory gate area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere strictly to company security policies and maintain discipline at the entrance.
- Perform thorough shift handovers and report any incidents or irregularities to management.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum education level of Intermediate.
- Previous experience as a Gate Keeper or Security Guard, preferably within a garments factory environment.
- Basic reading and writing skills necessary for maintaining accurate registers and records.
- Strong ability to follow instructions and adhere to company procedures.
- Excellent observation skills combined with a disciplined and responsible attitude.
- Honest, punctual, and dependable character traits essential for this role.

Compensation and Work Details

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month. The expected working hours are approximately 60 hours per week. The role requires the candidate to be present on-site at the factory gate, ensuring continuous security coverage during the assigned shift.
