We are seeking a talented and motivated Application and Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Application and Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and utilization of our diagnostic equipment and services.
You will be responsible for providing technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance to our customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers regarding the installation, operation, and maintenance of diagnostic equipment and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for customers to ensure proper usage and optimization of the products.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs, provide technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, and offer solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers in a timely manner, either remotely or on-site.
- Document and maintain records of customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions provided for future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings to enhance product knowledge and support capabilities.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for on-site support, installations, and training sessions.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Clinical Laboratory or relevant field.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the diagnostics or medical device industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, laboratory instruments, and related software applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications or training in relevant areas (e.g., medical equipment servicing, product-specific certifications) are a plus.
