General physician

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate General Physician to join our healthcare facility located in Bahria Town, Lahore. This part-time position offers a share-based compensation model and is ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably within a structured clinic or private hospital setting. As a General Physician, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, delivering high-quality primary care, managing chronic illnesses, and ensuring full compliance with the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) standards.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Conduct outpatient consultations, accurately diagnose medical conditions, and prescribe appropriate treatments to ensure effective patient management.

Clinical Assessment: Perform thorough physical examinations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and interpret results to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

Referrals and Coordination: Identify cases requiring specialized care and facilitate timely referrals to on-site or external specialists, ensuring seamless patient transitions.

Documentation: Maintain detailed, confidential, and organized patient health records, either electronically or in physical form, adhering to best practices in medical documentation.

PHC Compliance: Strictly follow the PHC Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS), particularly in areas such as prescription writing, patient safety, and infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications

Education: MBBS degree from a PM&DC-recognized institution is mandatory. Additional qualifications such as FCPS, MCPS, or relevant diplomas are preferred.

Licensing: A valid and active PM&DC (now PMC) Registration Certificate is required to practice.

Skills: Strong clinical decision-making abilities, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered, empathetic approach are essential for this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Candidates residing in or near Bahria Town, Lahore, will be given preference due to the in-person nature of the work. The position offers flexible part-time hours with compensation ranging from Rs. 10.00 to Rs. 20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
