The Accounts Manager at Genetics Pharmaceuticals is a critical role that requires the uptake of challenging responsibilities of a renowned company in the increasingly complexes pharmaceuticals industry.
The duty is to liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure apt effective solutions as per the demands of the various tasks relevant to the nature of job.
Job responsibilities include:
- Manage, develop, and oversee a team of accounting professionals
- Execute day-to-day accounting activities of the Company, including supervising the monthly close and review and approval of account reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist in the preparation of support for financial statements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to accelerate the close and reporting timelines; automate manual procedures and computations
- Assist in the formation of internal controls and policies
- Handle various taxation matters of the company
- Develop key accounting processes to support a rapidly growing company in order to support the delivery of financial insights to drive informed executive decisions
- Proven account management or other relevant experience of over 5-7 years in the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
