German Language Instructor

GSL Pakistan, a well-established study abroad consultancy and language coaching institute with branches in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar, is looking for a committed German Language Instructor for its Peshawar branch on Main University Road. The role involves teaching German language courses ranging from beginner (A1) to upper-intermediate (B2) levels. The instructor will prepare students for internationally recognized German proficiency exams and support their academic and career ambitions related to studying, working, and settling abroad. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring close collaboration with the Branch Manager and Head Academic Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver German language instruction at A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels (CEFR) both in-person and online.
- Prepare students for German proficiency exams such as Goethe-Zertifikat, ÖSD, and telc.
- Teach all four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking (Lesen, Schreiben, Hören, Sprechen).
- Plan and execute structured lessons aligned with the course syllabus, ensuring timely completion of each level.
- Conduct mock tests, evaluate student progress, and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, class progress, and exam results, regularly updating the academic coordinator.
- Conduct demo classes and engage with prospective students to support enrollment efforts when required.
- Provide students with insights into German culture, study and work life in Germany, and guidance on visa interview expectations where applicable.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline.
- German language certification at B2 level or above (Goethe, ÖSD, or telc); C1 level preferred.
- Strong command of German grammar, pronunciation, and familiarity with exam formats from A1 to B2.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu to effectively explain grammar and language concepts to beginners.
- Good communication skills, patience, and a professional demeanor.
- Comfortable using computers and online teaching platforms.
- Prior teaching experience in German is preferred but not mandatory; candidates with strong German skills and limited teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
