Provide support and administration IT department’s cloud presence.
Administration experience in AWS and Azure with and without scripting methods.Support will include Windows, Linux, and native cloud services in the respective platforms.
Candidate must be flexible to support needs of the department.Off hours and weekend support should be taken into consideration.
Experience with automation tools to streamline and standardize our cloud deployments.Ex:Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, etc…
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and overall identity and access management for cloud platforms.
Work with application and security teams to remediate any issues with resources, services, or security concerns for cloud platforms.
Experience with standardizing solutions for virus protection, OS Templates, and scripting to put baselines
Proactively look for ways to improve administration, monitoring, and standard operating procedures.
Plan, create, and deploy backup strategies to protect data stored in the cloud and strategic monitoring for all accounts.
Monitor and track incidents and trouble calls in a service desk ticketing system in support of the incident and problem management process; recognize high priority tickets and take action within the expected response time.
Monitoring of all cloud resources and responding to alerts within the environment.
Ability to implement systems that are highly available, scalable and meet disaster recovery requirements.
