- Provide support and administration IT department’s cloud presence.
- AWS,
- Azure,
- Administration experience in AWS and Azure with and without scripting methods.Support will include Windows, Linux, and native cloud services in the respective platforms.
- Candidate must be flexible to support needs of the department.Off hours and weekend support should be taken into consideration.
- Experience with automation tools to streamline and standardize our cloud deployments.Ex:Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, etc…
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and overall identity and access management for cloud platforms.
- Work with application and security teams to remediate any issues with resources, services, or security concerns for cloud platforms.
- Experience with standardizing solutions for virus protection, OS Templates, and scripting to put baselines
- Proactively look for ways to improve administration, monitoring, and standard operating procedures.
- Plan, create, and deploy backup strategies to protect data stored in the cloud and strategic monitoring for all accounts.
- Monitor and track incidents and trouble calls in a service desk ticketing system in support of the incident and problem management process; recognize high priority tickets and take action within the expected response time.
- Monitoring of all cloud resources and responding to alerts within the environment.
- Ability to implement systems that are highly available, scalable and meet disaster recovery requirements.
