The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Executive to search IT and data business opportunities and generate profitable revenue from new customers whilst building the Globizitech brand through strategic marketing campaigns.
In addition to managing all marketing aspects of Globizitech, the Sales and Marketing Executive will develop the marketing strategy, campaigns and marketing/ business development plans and will oversee all digital and traditional marketing platforms for Globizitech.
They will develop new business opportunities and show confidence and resilience with all sales activities to grow the business, as well as to follow up on leads generated by collateral areas of the business and converting them to revenue.
This is a diverse and hands-on role which entails working with the general public for events held at the centre.
Responsibilities
Researches and develops marketing opportunities
Research client base to find new types of customers and sell IT and automation solutions to them accordingly
Analyses and creates a plan for engaging the target market and gaining customers and propose IT solutions
Composing marketing emails
Developing social media strategy
Content development across channels including our website, social channels and email
Schedules appointments and meetings as necessary
Planning and implementing new sales plans
Maintain and update sales records and price
Generating monthly sales and other business reports
Maintain customer information database
Provide customer support for technical enquiries.
Organise & coordinate advertising and business meetings
Perform other administrative duties as directed
Qualification/Experience/skills required:
MBA, BBA or relevant degree in Marketing/sales
Previous experience working within a Sales or Marketing Team
Personable and affable personality who is comfortable meeting new people
Demonstrable prior achievement of on-target-earnings
Familiarity with sales support systems
Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload in busy environment
Skilled in building and maintaining B2B & B2C relationships
Ability to adapt skills to suit the client base
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Positive, achievement oriented and a motivated self-starter
Highly numerate with excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple enquiries in a professional manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with social media advertising including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram an advantage
Strong intellectual curiosity; eager to learn new techniques, tools, and technologies
