We are searching for a dedicated female employee to join our purchasing team. As a purchasing officer, you will carry out all tasks allocated by the Operations Director, which may include conducting research on potential vendors and suppliers, auditing stock levels, and updating records. You should be able to negotiate pricing and transport costs.
- Communicating with approved suppliers and vendors.
- Sourcing materials and negotiating the most cost-effective contracts and deals.
- Performing inventory audits and reordering supplies as necessary.
- Conducting market research
- Updating and maintaining records of all orders and received stock.
- Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
- Establishing professional relationships with local and international vendors.
