Looking for Project Engineer (Electrical) for MEP works at our firms projects in Karachi & Islamabad. Both projects are multi-story residential towers. The candidate should have experience in overseeing the planning and delivery of MEP works of a multi-story building construction projects with focus on Electrical works. He should be able to effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. In addition, he/she should organize logistics, delegate work, and keep track of spending relevant to MEP works.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, managing, supervising, and coordinating MEP works for the building project.
- Responsible for implementing the scope of work with regard to MEP works.
- Supervision of all electrical works including installation, troubleshooting & correction of electrical problems in power distribution and electrical equipment.
- Preparation of all engineering documents including shop drawings, as-built drawings, submittals, etc. for approval from Client & Consultant.
- Ensuring the construction of project stands in conformance with project specifications and is in accordance with the approved project schedule.
- Preparing and maintaining departmental policies, procedures, and manuals; in addition to fulfilling any other ad-hoc project targets and duties as required by the management.
- Presenting weekly progress of projects to Head Projects.
- Having good communication and analytical skills to manage and coordinate site teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Designing of LV and ELV distribution and monitoring systems.
- Monitor project deliverables.
Qualifications:
- BSC Electrical Engineering or higher
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- 4+ years experience in similar works
