Google Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN)

We are seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to develop tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications. The role involves utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that align with specific business needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure efficient delivery and continuous improvement of software products. Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating with and managing the team to achieve project goals.
- Take ownership of team decisions and provide leadership in technical discussions.
- Engage with multiple teams to contribute to key architectural and process decisions.
- Deliver effective solutions to challenges faced by the immediate team and across other teams.
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements that boost team productivity and enhance software quality.
- Mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development and integration within the team environment.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with Google Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN).
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud CDN and experience optimizing content delivery using cloud infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and best practices for web performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, high-availability systems leveraging cloud services.
- Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools to maintain system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Educational background comprising 15 years of full-time education.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

- While no additional skills are explicitly required, experience with related cloud technologies and agile development practices will be advantageous.
- This position is based at the HDC3B - SEZ office location.
