Google Slides Specialist

In this hourly, remote contractor position, you will serve as a Google Slides Specialist (Subject Matter Expert) responsible for creating realistic and challenging computer-based tasks using Google Slides. Your role involves designing practical presentation tasks, clearly documenting them in SuperAnnotate, ensuring your technical setup supports the task requirements, and recording yourself performing these tasks on your computer. The tasks you develop may include creating slide decks, editing layouts, applying themes, inserting images, charts, diagrams, speaker notes, transitions, branded templates, educational presentations, business decks, collaborative slide editing, or export workflows. Your contributions will support the training of advanced AI models to better understand browser-based presentation creation and collaboration workflows. Key Responsibilities

- Create realistic Google Slides tasks by designing challenging and practical assignments executable within Google Slides, then document these tasks clearly in SuperAnnotate.
- Prepare your work environment to support each task, ensuring access to Google Slides, availability of necessary files, images, charts, templates, sharing settings, and any required references before recording.
- Record yourself executing the Google Slides tasks on your computer, following project instructions precisely to ensure workflows are clear, complete, and realistic.
- Document task context thoroughly by providing detailed steps, goals, files, assets, and notes so reviewers fully understand the task and its completion process.
- Demonstrate practical use of Google Slides by completing workflows involving slide creation, formatting, layouts, themes, charts, images, diagrams, speaker notes, comments, sharing, or exports as appropriate.
- Maintain high submission quality by reviewing your recordings and documentation to confirm that tasks are complete, understandable, realistic, and aligned with project guidelines.

Required Qualifications

- Hands-on experience using Google Slides for various purposes such as presentations, educational slides, business decks, templates, visual communication, collaboration, or reporting workflows.
- Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher to comprehend project instructions, document tasks clearly, and communicate effectively with the project team.
- Comfort with computer use, browser-based tools, Google Drive, file management, sharing permissions, uploads/downloads, and recording workflows.
- Ability to design realistic and challenging Google Slides tasks that reflect genuine business, education, sales, marketing, administrative, training, or presentation-design scenarios.
- Strong understanding of Google Slides fundamentals including slide layouts, themes, formatting, images, shapes, charts, diagrams, speaker notes, transitions, comments, sharing, and export functions.
- Capability to ensure your setup fully supports the task requirements, including having access to Google Slides, necessary files/assets, prepared templates, and any relevant references before recording.
- High attention to detail in task preparation, workflow execution, and quality checking of recordings to ensure completeness and clarity.
- Reliable and self-directed work ethic, able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly, remote contractor role across different time zones.
