Responsibility:

  • Must have worked with FMCG, retail, beverages, confectionary, tobaccos.
  • The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives for their area of responsibility that deliver value to the business and meet the needs of a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders (multiple functions across CCR, Corporate, independent bottlers, and suppliers).
  • Establish strong business partner relationships to ensure the programs implemented meet business requirements and they deliver intended value to stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives which bring added value to the system, along with tools and solutions that improve or eliminate waste from current processes.
  • Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supplier Performance Management (SPM) programs with suppliers that deliver against strategic, operational performance, quality, productivity and sustainability goals.
  • Provide needed guidance to the business, including budget, forecasting, risk management, etc
  • Optimize cost, quality and service for inbound supply networks.
  • Build consensus and drive alignment with key Business partners for Procurement initiatives and programs.
  • Collaborate, advise and influence business stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Develop strategies for maximizing value and optimizing Supplier to Plant performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in his/her area of responsibility leveraging lean/six-sigma methods.
  • Develop and implement robust supplier relationship and performance management programs to deliver against SLAs and innovation objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Proven 6 years plus experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management, preferably in the food and beverage industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings and value-added results
