GPS Practitioner

You will be responsible for leading the daily deployment of the GSK Production System (GPS) at a manufacturing site in Pakistan. This role involves close collaboration with site leaders, engineers, and operators to embed practical continuous improvement practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who coaches others, applies clear problem-solving methods, and drives measurable improvements in safety, quality, service, and cost. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day deployment of the GSK Production System and manage site improvement activities.
- Translate site strategy into clear improvement priorities through structured strategy deployment.
- Coach and train multidisciplinary teams on practical GPS tools and standardized problem-solving methods.
- Conduct GPS self-assessments, identify maturity gaps, and support actions to close these gaps.
- Deliver improvements that have measurable impacts on safety, quality, service, and cost.
- Share practical examples and best practices with regional GPS colleagues and assist with roll-out activities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, biotechnology, biochemistry, science, or a related technical field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment, preferably in production, engineering, quality, or logistics.
- Proven practical experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results.
- Basic Lean or Six Sigma certification, such as Green Belt or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in English communication; knowledge of the local language is advantageous.
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC.
- Competence in basic data analysis and visualization tools, for example, Excel or Power BI.
