Graphic Designer / Prepress & Administrative Assistant)

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with excellent communication skills to join our custom signage and visual communications team. The role primarily involves designing signage, preparing production-ready artwork, and creating permit-ready layouts using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sign design, prepress, and print production, and be capable of effectively collaborating with internal teams to understand design requirements and manage projects efficiently. Familiarity with FlexiSIGN software is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design custom signs, banners, vehicle wraps, window graphics, decals, storefront signage, and promotional materials.
- Create production-ready artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Develop accurate permit-ready layouts including dimensions, measurements, and required specifications.
- Review, recreate, vectorize, and correct customer-supplied artwork.
- Prepare design proofs and revise them based on feedback from the internal sales team.
- Ensure correct resolution, colors, fonts, bleeds, cut paths, and file formats for all artwork.
- Prepare artwork suitable for large-format printing, vinyl cutting, and other production methods.
- Communicate clearly with sales and production teams to clarify project requirements and provide timely updates.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to understand instructions, ask relevant questions, and explain design details clearly.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, specifically within signage, printing, or visual communications.
- Solid knowledge of prepress processes, vector artwork, color modes, resolution, and print-ready file preparation.
- Proven ability to create accurate permit-ready sign layouts and technical drawings.
- Experience designing vehicle wraps, storefront signs, banners, and large-format graphics.
- Familiarity with FlexiSIGN, RIP software, or similar sign-production tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote sales and production teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- This is a part-time position with a remote work arrangement.
- Working hours are flexible within the window of 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM PKT, requiring any 4 to 5 hours either in the first or second half of this timeframe.
- Competitive monthly pay ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000.
- The role requires candidates to be based in Karachi and work in person as needed.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
