We are looking for a Business Development  Manager to join our Client Success Team to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Technical Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own overall relationship with assigned clients, which include Increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and satisfaction.
  • Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned client and drive continued value of our products and services.
  • Increase client satisfaction through regular meetings to understand business needs, technical objectives, communicate activity progress, and serve as technical liaison between client and GCS
  • Help management to evaluate client’s requirement and make cost-effective proposals
  • Participate in client/prospects meetings to explain / answer queries raised from clients/prospects.
  • Do conduct RnD on different tools, techniques, technologies and see how GCS can leverage them into its business.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Managing and monitoring new customer onboarding
  • Create and develop innovative strategies to resolve customer issues using sound decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Convert client relationships into long term partnership by providing what is needed and within agreed cost and timelines without compromising GCS values.
  • Keep management team well informed of account changes within organization and general client specific news
  • Develop and share GCS performance and compliance report with clients on regular basis
  • Conduct regular feedback surveys and take necessary actions to optimize client satisfaction.
  • Prepare adhoc , weekly , monthly ,quarterly status reports for management
  • Responsible for total incident ownership, managing all high and critical incidents and escalating appropriately
  • Track and improve customer success KPIs
  • Responsible for special client projects, requirement gathering, communication with cross-functional teams, management, and delivery as per the SLA/Contract.
  • Take initiatives and identify any opportunities for improvement of internal processes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role
  • Good working knowledge of IT Operational environments (vendor, contract management, Best Practices, SLA’s)
  • Excellent knowledge of sales software such as Zoho, NetSuite or Salesforce
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Demonstrates their expertise in applying consultative methodologies and techniques to uncover potential new opportunities.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
