About this Job:
Reports to: CFO
Timing: US/Canada-based working hours
Salary: USD 1,000-1,500/month, depending on candidate profile
Key responsibilities:
- Supervision of daily accounting transactions
- Reconciliation of banks, credit cards etc.
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Internal controls framework
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices as per GAAP/IFRS - preferred CA/CPA
- Knowledge of US and Canada tax laws will be given high importance.
- Knowledge of US/CA payroll practices and laws is also preferred.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience in working with ERPs - experience with Odoo is a bonus.
