Grj Agriculture and Livestock is seeking a dedicated Export Clearance & Documentation Officer to manage comprehensive export customs clearance and documentation tasks. This role demands proficiency in handling export documentation, compliance with customs regulations, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient export shipment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Pakistan Customs procedures, international shipping protocols, and export trade compliance. This position requires excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills to handle multiple export consignments within strict deadlines. The Export Clearance & Documentation Officer works closely with customs authorities, shipping companies, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate timely export shipments. The officer ensures all documentation—such as Goods Declarations, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin—is accurate and submitted on time. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it requires strong collaboration with finance, operations, and export departments to maintain seamless shipment execution and resolve export-related issues promptly.
Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Handle complete export customs clearance and documentation processes.
    • Prepare and process GDs, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and other export-related documents.
    • Liaise with customs authorities, shipping lines, terminal operators, and port officials.
    • Coordinate with clearing agents, freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping companies.
    • Manage container bookings, gate-in schedules, vessel cut-offs, and shipment tracking.
    • Ensure timely movement of export containers from the warehouse to Karachi Port, QICT, and SAPT.
    • Obtain necessary approvals, permits, and authorizations from relevant government authorities.
    • Coordinate inspections with customs, quarantine, and other regulatory departments when required.
    • Monitor export compliance and ensure adherence to Pakistan Customs and port regulations.
    • Resolve customs clearance issues, shipment delays, and documentation discrepancies.
    • Maintain accurate records of export shipments, container movements, and clearance expenses.
    • Work closely with the finance, operations, and export teams to ensure timely and efficient shipment execution.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in export clearing, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or export documentation.
    • Strong knowledge of Pakistan Customs procedures, WeBOC, PSW, Karachi Port, Port Qasim, QICT, and SAPT operations.
    • Experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and government regulatory authorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WeBOC, PSW, and export documentation systems.
    • Excellent coordination, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple export shipments while meeting strict deadlines.
