National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is seeking a highly experienced professional to join as the Group Chief Inclusive Development Group (Senior Executive Vice President) based in Karachi. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 18 years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in driving inclusive development initiatives within the banking sector. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects and fostering financial inclusion to support the bank’s growth and social impact objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the Inclusive Development Group, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall strategic goals.
- Develop and implement policies and programs that promote financial inclusion and support underserved segments of the population.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, regulatory authorities, and development partners, to advance inclusive banking initiatives.
- Drive innovation in product development tailored to meet the needs of diverse customer groups, including low-income and marginalized communities.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of inclusive development programs, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Represent the bank in national and international forums related to inclusive finance and development.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in inclusive finance.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve program objectives.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 18 years of professional experience, with significant exposure to inclusive development, financial inclusion, or related fields within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven leadership experience at a senior executive level, preferably in a large financial institution.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and policies related to inclusive finance in Pakistan.
- Excellent strategic planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement impactful financial inclusion programs.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of representing the bank at high-level forums.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
