This role involves conducting thorough physical stock audits at warehouse locations on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling physical stock with system data, identifying discrepancies such as shortages, excesses, damages, and expiries, and preparing detailed audit reports for management review. Maintaining proper documentation and following up on any inconsistencies is essential to support smooth warehouse operations and compliance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a complete physical stock audit of one warehouse every day.
- Reconcile physical stock counts with DMS or system records to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and report any shortages, excess inventory, damages, expiries, or other discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit daily warehouse audit reports, clearly communicating findings to management.
- Maintain comprehensive audit records and ensure timely follow-up on any discrepancies detected.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and stock control policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in stock auditing or inventory management.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Good understanding of stock auditing processes and inventory reconciliation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage daily warehouse visits and audits.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
