Growth-Oriented Developer

We are a dynamic multi-brand e-commerce business operating across Amazon FBA/FBM, Shopify, and various other marketplaces. We seek a hands-on, AI-native developer to join us as an in-house AI-assisted development expert. This role involves taking full ownership of and expanding the work currently handled part-time by an external agency. The ideal candidate will be embedded within the team, delivering faster and more cost-effective solutions. This is an individual contributor position focused on direct coding, testing, and building automations, with potential for growth into broader responsibilities as the business evolves.

Key Responsibilities
- Take over and enhance existing development projects previously managed by an outside agency, working full-time and closely with internal teams.
- Own and improve website conversion rates by designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests on Shopify storefronts, including layout and UX changes.
- Develop AI-driven automations to streamline workflows such as pricing logic integration from Odoo, finance and reporting tasks, and customer service processes like returns.
- Integrate data and APIs across Shopify, Odoo, and other internal systems, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.
- Collaborate directly with leadership across e-commerce, growth, and finance/operations to deliver solutions using AI-assisted coding tools while applying sound development judgment.
- Make informed design and marketing decisions with sufficient visual and brand sensibility, going beyond simple execution of specifications.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Shopify Liquid/theme development.
- Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools as a core part of daily development workflows.
- Ability to independently own projects and communicate effectively with leadership without reliance on agency intermediaries.
- Demonstrated capability in at least three of the following areas: Shopify storefront development, A/B testing and conversion rate optimization, AI-driven automation, data and API integration, or marketing/design sensibility.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
