Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Next.js Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain high-performance web applications. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new features and functionality, as well as mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain high-performance web applications using Next.js
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to understand and implement new features and functionality
- Lead the development of new features and functionality
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Next.js and React.js
- Experience with webpack, babel and other web development tools
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques
- Experience with modern front-end development practices, such as component-based architecture and state management
- Strong understanding of web standards and accessibility
- Experience with building and maintaining web applications in a production environment
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience leading a team is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Salary:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
