EY is looking for a Technical Lead to join its IT Consulting Services team, focusing on Guidewire implementation projects, including Portal and EDGE solutions, for clients globally. This role involves leading various technical streams, collaborating with international teams, and contributing to innovative technology solutions that support EY’s mission to build a better working world. The position is based in Hyderabad with flexible work-from-anywhere options within India and offers a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical aspects of Guidewire implementation projects to ensure successful delivery across multiple streams. Maintain effective communication with onsite coordinators and client representatives as needed. Plan, monitor, and report project deliverables regularly to management and onsite teams. Mentor and guide project team members to ensure tasks are executed efficiently. Manage client relationships by addressing demanding client needs and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Travel to customer locations when required to support project execution. Foster a quality-driven culture within the team and manage the performance of direct reports in accordance with organizational policies. Promote teamwork and lead by example. Conduct training and mentoring sessions for project resources. Participate in organization-wide people initiatives to support team development.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or MCA with 7 to 10 years of relevant industry experience is essential. Strong expertise in Guidewire Portal and EDGE competencies is required. Proficiency in Java 8+, JSON, REST API, ReactJS or AngularJS, JavaScript, and HTML is necessary. Solid experience with application servers such as Tomcat, Websphere, or Weblogic is expected. Hands-on knowledge of enterprise system integration, preferably within the Insurance domain, is important. Familiarity with software development best practices is required. Excellent business communication and leadership skills are essential. Experience working with Guidewire Portals and a background in the Insurance sector, particularly Property & Casualty, are important. Practical experience with REST API development, Core Java, Gosu, and insurance domain processes is also required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with Guidewire Policy Center configuration, integration, and conversion is highly desirable. Prior client-facing experience is an advantage. Knowledge of Git repository management and Guidewire certification will be considered a plus. Understanding of Template Design Patterns is beneficial.
