Having more than two decades of diversified experience in Event Management, Exhibition Planning, Design and Production, Indoor/Outdoor customized events, we have been providing solutions to a multifaceted clientele bringing South East Asian culture to the world. About the role and responsibilities: Do you have experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns for consumer or trade exhibitions and events? Are you looking for a new marketing challenge and want to work in a dynamic environment? Gulf Exhibition & Festival Management (GEFM) is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our events team and play a key role in marketing upcoming events. As Marketing Manager you’ll work alongside the Head of Events and Event Manager and be responsible for creating and managing effective integrated marketing campaigns to ensure maximum outreach. You’ll devise and implement the marketing strategy and plan, set objectives and be responsible for achieving maximum outreach and revenue. You’ll understand the market, agree priorities and provide status reports to the team gaining sign off on required marketing processes and material. You’ll source and liaise with essential media partners for the shows and deliver a strategy to secure maximum coverage and participation at the event. In this hands-on marketing role you’ll manage the creative process for the show’s identity, writing briefs, managing pitches, developing the web strategy, and liaising with external agencies and in house designers to create all promotional materials. You’ll devise and manage the marketing budget, improve marketing efficiency and be responsible for presenting the post-event marketing report and delivering results. You’ll have a comprehensive experience and understanding of marketing and, ideally have consumer exhibitions marketing experience. With excellent communication skills, you’ll build strong relationships with third parties, clients and senior colleagues. You’ll be keen to immerse yourself in, and gain a deep understanding of the audience and exhibitor profiles, brand values and products. A high level of attention to detail is needed alongside great copy writing and proof reading skills. You’ll be highly organised, proactive, creative and able to work to your own initiative. Experience of working with marketing budgets, monitoring costs and producing post-show marketing reports, are needed.
