We are looking for a responsible and confident Gym Operations & Sales Manager to lead the daily management of two fitness centers, including a combined gym and a women’s gym. The ideal candidate will be proactive in overseeing staff, driving sales growth, increasing membership renewals, resolving member concerns, and maintaining discipline to ensure smooth operations across both morning and evening shifts. This role requires hands-on involvement in operations, sales performance, member experience, staff supervision, and daily reporting, rather than just administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of both gym locations to ensure efficiency and member satisfaction.
- Supervise front desk staff, sales teams, trainers, cleaners, and support personnel to maintain high service standards.
- Lead morning and evening shifts effectively to guarantee seamless gym functioning.
- Drive membership growth through new acquisitions, renewals, and reactivation of expired memberships.
- Monitor sales follow-ups, walk-in inquiries, WhatsApp and call communications, and optimize lead conversion rates.
- Track personal training sales and evaluate individual trainer performance regularly.
- Address and resolve member complaints promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and a positive environment within both gym facilities.
- Oversee staff attendance, punctuality, and performance to ensure accountability.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for daily collections, manage pending balances, and review financial reports.
- Collaborate with marketing and social media teams on campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to senior management.
- Prevent misuse of memberships, unauthorized discounts, expired access, or incorrect entries.
- Support the implementation of targets, incentive programs, and accountability frameworks to boost team performance.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in team management.
- Background in gym, fitness, retail, hospitality, salon/spa, clinic, customer service, or sales operations preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a sales-driven mindset focused on achieving targets.
- Ability to manage staff firmly yet professionally, maintaining discipline and motivation.
- Effective problem-solving skills and experience in complaint resolution.
- Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and managing WhatsApp follow-ups.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts covering both morning and evening sessions.
- Presentable, disciplined, and professional demeanor suitable for a customer-facing leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience managing a team in a similar environment.
- Understanding of customer service principles and proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Capability to improve operational systems beyond basic staff supervision.
- Willingness to take full ownership of operations and report directly to ownership or senior management.
- Competitive salary range of Rs 80,000 to Rs 125,000 per month.
- Location based in Karachi Clifton, with a reliable commute or plans to relocate before joining.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment requiring rotational shifts and presence at both gym locations. Experience in fitness centers, retail, hospitality, salons/spas, clinics, or customer service sectors is highly valued. A bachelor’s degree is desirable but not mandatory. This role demands strong leadership and operational expertise to ensure the success and growth of both gym facilities.
