Quality Assurance Engineer – P2

You will develop and monitor quality assurance objectives, analyze quality data to uncover improvement opportunities, and collaborate closely with research, development, and customer service teams to address product and process quality concerns. Your leadership will extend to training and guiding quality inspectors, promoting quality awareness, and ensuring timely response to customer complaints. The role involves conducting rigorous internal audits, preparing for external ISO audits, and supporting cost reduction initiatives through product quality enhancements. This position demands a proactive approach to managing defect rates, coordinating quality documentation, and maintaining compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety standards.
Responsibilities

Prepare and monitor Quality Assurance objectives and plans aligned with departmental goals to ensure systematic quality management.
Develop and implement quality monitoring systems, product specifications, and process controls to maintain high standards.
Monitor production defect rates, analyze trends, and take corrective actions to meet or exceed target quality levels.
Analyze market feedback and quality data to identify patterns, improvement areas, and cost-saving opportunities in quality processes.
Drive continuous improvements in product design, manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment based on data-driven insights.
Coordinate with Research and Development and Customer Service to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
Conduct regular market and branch visits to gather firsthand product quality feedback and ensure market requirements are addressed.
Identify, investigate, and follow up on issues affecting product realization and overall quality performance.
Train and mentor Quality Assurance Inspectors, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability within the team.
Promote continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen and 6S across production and operational areas.
Monitor spare parts availability and coordinate timely arrangements to resolve customer complaints efficiently.
Perform daily internal quality audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain comprehensive quality records and prepare documentation to support factory-level external ISO audits.
Track quality-related expenses and contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing costs through product quality enhancements.
Ensure strict compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards, including environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.
Lead and manage a team of 10 Quality Assurance professionals, providing guidance, performance management, and motivation to achieve departmental objectives.
