We are looking for a talented individual for the post of Business Development Manager. Candidate should be highly organized and have the ability to introduce company services to corporate sector and should have the ability to flourish with minimal guidance.
Knowledge of basics related to event sales & management would be highly preferable. Candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
BDM Responsibilities:
· Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities.
· Researching the market and identifying potential target customers
· Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings to close business leads.
· Planning and overseeing new business development initiatives.
· Researching organizations and individuals to find new business opportunities.
· Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
· Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
· Attending industry events in order to generate business leads.
· Setting goals for the development of team and business growth and ensure they are met.
· Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
· Must be able to successfully manage sales teams ideally from a similar industry.
· Professional sales training would be a strong advantage.
· Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business
· Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire sales teams.
· Motivating the sales team to achieve the best results possible.
· Setting activity and revenue targets for members of the sales team.
· Continual training and development of all members of the sales department to develop their inter personal skills.
