Harbour Institute of Research and Development seeks a dedicated Educator with at least five years of experience to lead curriculum development and educational content design. The candidate will manage a team of five professionals and take charge of mapping comprehensive learning objectives aligned with international frameworks such as IB, British, Cambridge, EYFS, and IGCSE standards. This role demands expertise in creating age-appropriate learning milestones and designing lesson plans, units, and assessments that support diverse learning needs, including self-paced, parent-guided, and independent approaches. The Educator will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, content creators, instructional designers, and developers to ensure academic accuracy and developmental appropriateness across all materials. Additionally, the role includes establishing and maintaining quality assurance standards, guiding parents and educators in instructional methodologies, and developing a robust assessment framework encompassing formative, summative, and skills-based evaluations. This position is pivotal in shaping educational strategies that promote student engagement and effective learning outcomes.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a curriculum framework aligned with international standards including IB, British, Cambridge, EYFS, and IGCSE.
  • Map clear learning objectives matched to relevant educational standards and age-appropriate progression pathways.
  • Design standard templates for lessons, units, activities, projects, and various assessments ensuring pedagogical consistency.
  • Build a comprehensive assessment framework incorporating formative, summative, and skills-based evaluations to monitor student progress.
  • Create educational content suitable for diverse learning modes such as self-paced, parent-guided, and independent study.
  • Develop guidance materials and provide support for parents, educators, content writers, and subject specialists.
  • Incorporate differentiated learning approaches that accommodate varied abilities and learning needs among students.
  • Review and ensure the academic accuracy, consistency, relevance, and developmental appropriateness of all educational content.
  • Collaborate effectively with content creators, subject experts, instructional designers, product designers, and software developers.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance standards for curriculum resources and learning materials.
  • Lead and manage a team of five professionals, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational research and methodologies to continuously refine curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Ensure all educational content respects inclusive learning principles and supports a positive learning environment.
