S. Zia-Ul-Haq & Sons Pvt Ltd. is seeking a Hardware Procurement Officer with 4 to 5 years of experience in sourcing materials across Automobile, Construction, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and General Hardware sectors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in vendor management, vendor qualification and risk management (VQRM), supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations, and timely procurement. The role requires ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to compliance standards throughout the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials related to Automobile, Construction, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and General Hardware categories.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and qualified vendor database to support procurement activities.
- Conduct Vendor Qualification, Performance Evaluation, and Risk Assessment (VQRM) to ensure supplier reliability and compliance.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and compliance with company standards.
- Obtain quotations through Request for Quotation (RFQ), perform commercial evaluations, and negotiate favorable prices and payment terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) while ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and established procurement procedures.
- Address and resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, delayed deliveries, and commercial disputes to maintain smooth operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in hardware procurement.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Vendor Management and Vendor Qualification & Risk Management (VQRM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems for effective procurement tracking and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage supplier relationships and procurement challenges effectively.
