S. Zia-Ul-Haq & Sons Pvt Ltd. is seeking an experienced Hardware Procurement Officer with 4 to 5 years of expertise in sourcing materials across Automobile, Construction, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and General Hardware sectors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in vendor management, vendor qualification and risk management (VQRM), supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations, and timely procurement. This role requires ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and strict compliance with company policies throughout the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials related to Automobile, Construction, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and General Hardware categories.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and qualified vendor database to support procurement activities.
- Conduct Vendor Qualification, Performance Evaluation, and Risk Assessment (VQRM) to ensure supplier reliability and compliance.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery schedules, and adherence to compliance standards.
- Obtain quotations through Request for Quotation (RFQ), perform commercial evaluations, and negotiate favorable prices and payment terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) while ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal company policies and established procurement procedures.
- Address and resolve supplier-related issues including quality concerns, delayed deliveries, and commercial disputes efficiently.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in hardware procurement.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Vendor Management and Vendor Qualification & Risk Management (VQRM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems to manage procurement data and processes effectively.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to handle complex procurement challenges.
