Join Hasco Steel as a CNC Plasma Operator, where you will play a vital role in manufacturing by operating CNC plasma cutting machines to produce precision metal components. With at least one year of experience, you will contribute to the production process by setting up, calibrating, and maintaining plasma cutting equipment according to the production schedules and engineering drawings. In this hands-on position, you will monitor the machines throughout operation, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform precise measurements to maintain close tolerances. Although this role does not involve managing a team, effective coordination with operators and production staff is essential to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards at Hasco Steel's manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities

Operate and monitor CNC plasma cutting machines to cut metal sheets and parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Set up CNC plasma machines by loading programs, configuring tools, and calibrating equipment to ensure accurate cuts and minimal waste.
Perform precision measurements during and after cutting to verify conformance to required dimensions and quality standards.
Inspect metal parts for defects or deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments to machine settings.
Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and reporting malfunctions for timely repairs.
Follow all safety procedures and policies strictly to ensure a safe working environment in the manufacturing area.
Record production data and machine performance to support quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with production supervisors and quality control personnel to meet production goals and resolve any operational issues.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure smooth machine operation throughout shifts.
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new plasma cutting technologies, techniques, and company standards.
