The CNC Operatore is responsible for operating CNC machinery, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that all components meet exact specifications. Experience with CAM software and coordinate measuring machines will support the effective monitoring and adjustment of the manufacturing process. The position demands strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. In this role, the CNC Operatore leads a small team of two persons, managing daily operations, training team members, and coordinating workflow to maintain productivity and quality standards. Communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly are essential to minimize downtime and ensure continuous manufacturing flow. The operator must also adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment to prolong machine life and avoid malfunctions. Vocational training or equivalent experience, along with at least two years of professional experience in CNC operations, is essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines according to blueprints and technical specifications to manufacture precision parts.
  • Set up CNC machinery including tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for smooth production runs.
  • Program CNC machines or modify existing programs to optimize manufacturing processes using CAM software.
  • Carry out precision measurements utilizing tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to verify part quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage and supervise a team of two CNC operators, delegating tasks, overseeing performance, and providing training.
  • Follow company safety standards and operational procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Inspect products during and at the end of the production run to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and quality control reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to improve manufacturing processes and resolve production challenges.
  • Continuously update knowledge on CNC technology trends and upgrade technical skills as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all technical drawings, customer requirements, and industry standards throughout production.
