Job Description

  • Identify training and development needs of staff throughout the organization using a training need analysis survey.
  • Update training materials to make these more relevant to the needs of the organization
  • Produce a resourced annual training plan in coordination with department heads based on training needs identified for staff members and organizational aims and objectives.
  • Develop internal training competencies and establish training structure for on-the-job training that will support career development and advancement of team members.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources in relation to administration of employee performance reviews and identify performance gaps that can be addressed through training.
  • Provide and support cross-training and professional development opportunities.
  • Provide support to Departmental Trainers.
  • Maintain a monthly training calendar. Ensuring and providing ongoing feedback and follow-up on employee and management related challenges.
  • Continuously identify new ways of improving quality within the department.
  • Attend daily Room briefings and monthly staff communication meetings to discuss training and quality updates. Ensure the communication meeting minutes are filed accordingly.
  • Update employee engagement/training activities on company web page.
  • Handle all employee functions professionally with creative ideas to ensure maximum participation.
  • Conduct orientation of newly hired associates.
  • Organize Corporate led training programs in the property.
  • Commission and oversee delivery of training courses by external providers where appropriate, securing best value for money.
  • Participate in developing and implementing mandatory training programs related to employee safety and security.
  • Deliver and coordinate English Language Classes for the employees.
