Assistant Manager – Technical Sales & Support job is available in Lahore for a leading Manufacturing Company. An ideal candidate must be B.E in Electronics/Electrical engineering from any accredited university along with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in technical sales and support of Switchgear, Automation, Control & Instrumentation products, with a proven track record of client handling, solution selling, and after-sales support within industrial or project-based environments.

The Assistant Manager – Technical Sales & Support role is to oversee technical sales operations, understand customer requirements, offer suitable product solutions, and ensure effective coordination between clients and internal teams to support sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To pursue and follow up technical sales and support of Switchgear, Automation, Control & Instrumentation products to the assigned group of industries, projects, and clients within the Lahore region and/or other nearby cities.
  • Responsible for technical sales and solutions, studying technical literature, and presenting solutions according to client needs and requirements.
  • Perform vigorous follow-ups on sales with visiting customers and submit reports on the success and failure of the sales activities.
  • Check the availability of stocks before finalizing or committing of orders.
  • Discuss trade discounts with the supervisor before finalizing deals/transactions.
  • Prepare delivery challans and coordinate with the dispatch department for swift delivery.
  • Discuss technical problems with the supervisor.
  • Assist the supervisor in providing focused sales to the selected customers via in-house training, presentation/orientation with the display of products.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department for presentation on products and after-sales support.
  • Support and assist the marketing department in conducting seminars and other sales promotion activities.
  • Maintain and update data database of customers assigned.
  • Assist the supervisor in completing and updating the customer database regularly.
  • Submit market reports and feedback to the supervisor, as needed.
  • Proper follow-ups are being made on the aging schedule. Provide updates on a weekly basis to the supervisor / commercial department.
  • Ensure that the outstanding amount is clear or at a reasonable level before delivery of goods to the respective customer. If any deviation is found, discuss with the supervisor.
