We, an office Furnishing Company, doing project all over Pakistan; are looking for an experienced and multi-talented candidate with a background of Supply Chain management. A candidate should be active in procurement of order related materials, logistic of inbound materials and shipment of finished orders. The candidate must be able to perform the following responsibilities as follows:
- Receive material purchasing document/request from SCM executive/manager and create purchasing plan.
- Ensure the purchase of generic and built up materials.
- Perform quality check of inbound materials.
- Coordinate with accounts for payments to vendors.
- Arrange transportation for shipment of orders.
- Select optimal transportation routes, medium of transportation
- Ensure the vehicle condition and its legal documents.
- Tracking and supervising the shipments
- Keep updating shipment tracking database
- Liaise with different transport agencies
