Head of Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple engineering teams and engineering managers, providing mentorship and guidance to build strong leaders and high-performing teams.
- Own the delivery, technical direction, architecture, quality, and engineering standards across products and initiatives.
- Manage priorities and resources effectively across multiple products and technology projects.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, resource gaps, and technical debt early in the development lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Present engineering progress, challenges, roadmaps, and technology strategies clearly and confidently to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- 10 to 15+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams or product lines simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge of modern software architecture, APIs, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, security standards, and scalable system design.
- Excellent people management skills combined with strong execution capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, especially in executive-level interactions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS platforms, artificial intelligence, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), or enterprise software is highly desirable.
