Head of Engineering

The Head of Engineering will play a critical role in setting the technical vision and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, reliable healthcare technology solutions. This leadership position involves overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with product and business stakeholders, and aligning engineering efforts with the company’s strategic goals. The role demands a focus on best practices in architecture, code quality, security, and resource management, while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and teamwork across cross-functional groups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams and engineering managers to achieve high performance.
- Own the delivery, technical direction, system architecture, code quality, and engineering standards across projects.
- Manage priorities and resources effectively across various products and technology initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, resource gaps, and technical debt.
- Develop strong engineering leaders and cultivate high-performing teams.
- Communicate engineering progress, challenges, roadmaps, and technology strategies clearly to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple teams or product lines simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge of modern software architecture, APIs, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, security standards, and building scalable systems.
- Exceptional people management skills combined with strong execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills suitable for executive-level interactions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
