Headmistress

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Headmistress to lead our school, fostering academic excellence and creating a vibrant culture of teaching and learning. Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and clear direction to the school, aligning with its mission and vision.
- Ensure academic excellence by maintaining rigorous standards consistent with Cambridge curriculum requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate both teaching and administrative staff to promote professional growth and accountability.
- Oversee curriculum implementation, lesson planning, student assessments, and monitor academic progress.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment that supports diverse learners.
- Develop and implement comprehensive academic and school improvement plans to enhance overall performance.
- Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to school policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards to create a safe and professional environment.
- Manage daily school operations, uphold discipline, and maintain high standards of professionalism throughout the institution.
- Represent the school in academic forums and community events, promoting its values and achievements.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Education or a related field; qualifications such as M.Ed. or B.Ed. are preferred.
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in education, with substantial leadership or management experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in working within a Cambridge school system is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum, assessment methods, and academic standards.
- Proven leadership abilities, excellent team management skills, and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and a passion for nurturing the development of students, teachers, and the school community as a whole.
