Health KP is seeking a dedicated Lady Health Worker (LHV) for HF & Outreach to support community health initiatives focused on maternal and child health care. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and be registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC). This role involves providing essential antenatal and postnatal care, conducting health education sessions, and engaging in community outreach activities to improve overall health awareness and outcomes. The position does not include team management responsibilities but requires strong individual commitment and excellent communication skills to work effectively within community settings. The Lady Health Worker will be responsible for data collection and reporting using mobile health tools to ensure accurate and timely health information is maintained. The role demands sustained interaction with community members to counsel and educate them on health practices, thereby contributing significantly to public health improvement. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive maternal and child health care including antenatal and postnatal services to community members.
  • Conduct community health education sessions aimed at improving health knowledge and practices related to nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Deliver effective counseling and communication to individuals and families to support healthy behaviors and lifestyles.
  • Implement community health outreach programs to increase awareness and encourage utilization of health services.
  • Collect and accurately report health data using mobile health tools to facilitate monitoring and evaluation of health programs.
  • Collaborate with local health facilities and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of outreach activities with broader health services.
  • Identify and refer patients requiring further medical attention to appropriate health facilities in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council and comply with all relevant health regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and capacity-building sessions to update knowledge and skills related to community health.
  • Support immunization campaigns and other public health initiatives targeted within the community.
