Health Representative

The Health Representative will be responsible for engaging with healthcare professionals within an assigned territory to promote Pfizer’s vaccine products. This role involves delivering professional and skillful presentations to targeted doctors, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of the products and their competitive landscape. The representative will maintain detailed records of doctor and chemist contacts, prepare and submit weekly and monthly call plans, and provide timely reports to the Health Representative Manager. The position is field-based and located in Karachi, reporting directly to the Health Representative Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Call on practicing physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations within the designated territory to promote Pfizer vaccine products.
- Deliver professional presentations to doctors using effective selling techniques, focusing on approved indications to increase product prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate records of all contacts and calls made to doctors and chemists, submitting reports on prescribed forms as per schedule.
- Follow the approved tour program, making planned calls and presenting coverage updates during scheduled meetings.
- Organize Product Group Meetings with doctors to discuss one or two products in detail, while continuously updating knowledge on competitive products.
- Collect and report information on competitors’ promotional and marketing activities.
- Provide periodic feedback to the Health Representative Manager and marketing team regarding promotional activities and market insights.
- Coordinate with distributors to ensure adequate stock availability of products at retail outlets.
- Implement plans aimed at increasing prescription flow from identified doctors and report progress regularly.
- Forward technical queries from doctors to the Medical Division for clarification, keeping the Health Representative Manager informed.
- Maintain professional appearance, proper record-keeping, and upkeep of detailing kits and vehicle. Submit expense reports and leave plans within deadlines.
- Responsibly report any observed competitive activities in the assigned area to the Health Representative Manager, Sales Manager, and Marketing team.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science is mandatory.
- Fresh graduates to candidates with up to two years of experience in pharmaceutical sales will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- A Pharm D degree is preferred.
- Experience ranging from six months to two years in pharmaceutical sales is advantageous.
