Key Responsibilities
The Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Karachi Division. The primary responsibility is to monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across the facility. This includes conducting regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. The HSE Officer ensures compliance with local regulations and company standards related to chemical handling and industrial operations.

Additional duties include delivering safety training sessions, leading incident investigations, maintaining accurate documentation and reports, and supporting the implementation of emergency response plans. The role requires close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and management teams to foster a proactive safety culture and improve environmental performance on site.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have demonstrated knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, environmental compliance standards, and best practices within industrial and chemical manufacturing settings. Experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and developing corrective and preventive action plans is essential.

The ability to design and deliver HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns tailored to diverse teams is required. Strong skills in documentation, report writing, data analysis, and proficiency with basic IT tools such as MS Office are necessary to effectively track safety performance and compliance.

Familiarity with emergency response planning, personal protective equipment (PPE) selection and use, safe chemical handling procedures, and waste management practices is important.
