We are a dynamic organization that deals in industrial machinery, driven by innovation and dedicated to achieving exceptional success in our industry. As a rapidly expanding company, we’re looking for Import Executive who is responsible for managing and coordinating all import-related activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This includes handling documentation, liaising with customs and clearing agents, ensuring compliance with import regulations, and maintaining supplier communication.
Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end import operations including documentation, coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs agents.
- Prepare and review import documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin and other related forms.
- Track shipments to ensure timely arrival and clearance at ports.
- Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, accounts, warehouse) for smooth handling of imported goods.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, customs laws and import/export policies.
- Negotiate and manage freight and clearing costs with vendors and service providers.
- Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and prepare reports for management.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods.
- Resolve import-related issues including shipment delays, discrepancies or document errors.
