Prouction IN Charge

Hi Tech Plastics Engineering is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production In Charge to lead our manufacturing operations, specializing in spices, desserts, and food products. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in FMCG food manufacturing, possess a Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Food Technology or a related field, and demonstrate hands-on expertise in mixing, blending, filling, and packing processes. This role requires managing a team of 10 persons, ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations such as GMP, HACCP, and ISO/FSSC 22000. The Production In Charge will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing activities, coordinating with different departments including Planning, Store, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance. This role plays a crucial part in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage, while maintaining accurate production records and ensuring adherence to company SOPs. Candidates must have strong leadership skills, an unwavering commitment to food safety, and a proactive approach toward problem-solving and process optimization.
Responsibilities

Plan and organize daily production schedules to meet targets efficiently and on time.
Manage and allocate manpower, machinery, raw materials, and packaging resources effectively.
Supervise, train, and motivate a production team of 10 employees, enforcing discipline and safety standards.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Store, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), ISO/FSSC 22000 standards, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain detailed production records including monitoring yields, tracking wastage, and analyzing downtime incidents.
Drive initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, quality improvement, and continuous process optimization.
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to maintain high efficiency and product quality.
Oversee strict adherence to food safety regulations and implement corrective actions when required.
Conduct regular inspections to verify that all equipment and processes meet regulatory and safety standards.
Prepare reports on production metrics and present findings to senior management for informed decision-making.
Manage inventory levels in coordination with the Store department to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
Support recruitment and workforce planning to maintain an adequate and skilled production staff.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the production team.
Monitor the implementation of quality control measures to uphold product standards throughout manufacturing.
