The Web Application Developer / Full Stack Web Developer at Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications that support the organization's regulatory functions. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy web applications using PHP, Laravel, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Node.js.
- Design, implement, and maintain databases using MySQL and MongoDB with emphasis on database design, normalization, and query optimization.
- Ensure secure coding practices, including prevention of SQL injection and implementation of secure authentication methods.
- Integrate third-party APIs and internal REST APIs to enhance application functionality and data exchange.
- Develop interactive dashboards and analytics modules to present data effectively for regulatory analysis.
- Implement AJAX and jQuery to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
- Generate PDF & Excel reports and automate report generation processes to support regulatory documentation and compliance.
- Manage domain and hosting services for deploying and maintaining web applications.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements and translate these into technical specifications.
- Maintain version control and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Test application components rigorously to identify and fix bugs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually refine development practices and improve application features.
