Production Engineer

Hikmat Pump (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). With a minimum of two years of relevant experience, the Production Engineer will focus on optimizing production processes, enhancing supply chain coordination, and improving overall operational efficiency using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. The Production Engineer will play a crucial role in analyzing production workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process optimization strategies that reduce costs and increase productivity. Responsibilities include detailed production planning and close coordination with supply chain partners to maintain uninterrupted material flow and support project deadlines. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a systematic approach to production issues, and the ability to work within established safety and quality standards to meet company objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement process optimization techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in production operations.
Create detailed production plans that align with supply chain logistics and customer demand to ensure timely product delivery.
Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage inventory and streamline the procurement of materials needed for production.
Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to track production schedules, monitor resource allocation, and report on manufacturing performance.
Analyze production data and prepare performance reports to identify trends and areas requiring improvement.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all manufacturing processes comply with defined quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot production issues, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain thorough documentation of production processes, changes, and maintenance activities to support audit and continuous improvement efforts.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production goals with company policies and customer expectations.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in all aspects of the production process.
