We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Himmel Private Limited, a leading provider of solar systems and energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records (journals, ledgers, trial balances)
Prepare and analyze financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Monitor cash flow and bank reconciliations
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Support external audits and coordinate with auditors
Maintain internal controls and financial policies
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
Maintain inventory and cost accounting (for solar panels, inverters, batteries, etc.)
Manage payroll and employee expense reports
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (experience in the solar/energy sector is a plus)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP, Excel)
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Good communication skills
