Medical Imaging Technologist/Radiologist (X-ray Modality)

Hire Hub is seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Imaging Technologist specializing in X-ray modality to join their healthcare team in Sialkot. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and the accurate acquisition of high-quality images. This role requires thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques, equipment operation, radiation protection, and adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. The selected Medical Imaging Technologist will work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to provide essential imaging services. The role demands a professional attitude, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Candidates must have completed a bachelors degree in Medical Imaging Technology, possess proven experience or knowledge in X-ray modalities, and be residents of Sialkot. This position does not include team management responsibilities and is based on-site to ensure hands-on handling of imaging equipment and direct patient interaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray examinations precisely following established protocols and physician instructions to produce clear diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients properly, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the imaging procedure.
- Operate X-ray equipment with expertise, maintaining safety standards and optimizing image quality.
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety and protection guidelines to minimize exposure risks for patients and staff.
- Verify patient information carefully and maintain accurate, thorough records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Explain imaging procedures to patients clearly to alleviate concerns and facilitate cooperation.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the imaging area, including careful handling and routine maintenance of X-ray equipment.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and treatment processes.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to the responsible department.
- Follow all departmental policies, quality assurance standards, and patient confidentiality regulations consistently.
- Stay updated with current clinical protocols and regulatory compliance requirements related to radiologic technology and radiation protection.
- Participate in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance skill sets in medical imaging technology.
