Our client, a well-established not-for-profit hospital located in Karachi Central District, is seeking a skilled IT Officer to join their team. The IT Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related functions within the hospital. This includes providing daily technical support, maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and assisting staff with their IT needs. The successful candidate will help maintain the efficiency and reliability of computers, printers, network devices, and other essential IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve routine hardware and technical issues promptly.
- Install and support operating systems, applications, and other software as needed.
- Provide timely technical assistance to users and address IT-related complaints effectively.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including resolving connectivity and LAN issues.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and keep detailed records of hardware and software assets.
- Assist with software updates, antivirus management, data backups, and basic IT security protocols.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs and other technical support.
- Carry out additional IT-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role.

Work Location:
This position requires the candidate to work on-site at the hospital.
