Appliance Repair Technician

Hitachi Service Center is seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician with a minimum of four years of experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing home appliances. This role requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults across various imported household equipment. The technician will work primarily in the field at customer locations throughout Karachi, ensuring prompt and effective repair service. Clear communication of technical issues and maintenance instructions to customers is essential for success in this role. Punctuality, responsibility, and the ability to work independently are key attributes for candidates. The technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of multiple appliance types, including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, freezers, water dispensers, and microwave ovens. The position involves field service assignments, installation, servicing, and preventative maintenance duties. While managing their workload independently, the technician must adhere to Hitachi's service procedures and quality expectations, maintain safety standards, and provide detailed updates on service progress. Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of home appliances, including air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, water dispensers, and microwave ovens.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and cooling system-related issues efficiently to restore appliance functionality.
Perform air conditioner servicing, including installation, gas charging and recharging, and routine maintenance tasks.
Identify and fix refrigerator and freezer cooling problems by assessing components such as compressors, fans, sensors, capacitors, and relays.
Service and repair fully automatic washing machines, addressing motor, dryer, and related subsystem faults.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing printed circuit boards (PCBs) and inverter PCBs as part of appliance repairs.
Inspect appliances thoroughly to accurately determine fault causes and decide on effective repair strategies.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to explain technical issues, repair needs, and maintenance recommendations.
Maintain and handle service tools, testing equipment like multimeters, and safety gear to ensure safe and effective repairs.
Complete assigned service calls promptly and provide detailed progress updates to supervisors or service management teams.
Follow company service protocols and quality standards consistently to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
Exhibit professional behavior and maintain customer property respect while working on-site at customers homes.
Travel to various customer locations within Karachi reliably to deliver timely repair and maintenance services.
Keep abreast of technological updates in home appliance repair and participate in training opportunities to enhance skill sets.
