- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade all HiveWorx employees’ networks and onsite servers.
- Troubleshoot system problems, and train employees for software and hardware.
- Ensure network security and connectivity.
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
- Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
- Resolve problems reported by end user.
- Define network policies and procedures.
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Interact with other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.
- Perform security audits on a routine basis as well as plan and expand the current offerings related to services.
- Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.

Specifications:
- Prior experience of minimum 2 years in the same capacity.
- BSC/BS degree in computer science, diploma, certification or relevant.
- vmware, Fortinet, Linux. Docker and docker-compose,
- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
